Global Sourcing Manager Summary: The Global Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost efficiency, supplier quality, and supply chain resilience on a global scale. This role will involve managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and extensive experience in global procurement and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, mitigate risks, and ensure supply chain continuity. Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure alignment with quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Plus monitor KPI's and implement initiatives. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to ensure organizational standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and product teams, to understand sourcing needs and deliver value. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, environmental, and market-related challenges. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing processes and tools. Key Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management for a manufacturer. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with global suppliers and understanding international trade regulations. Proficiency in sourcing tools and technologies (e.g., ERP systems, procurement platforms). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be familiar with The Harmonized Tariff Schedule as put forth by the United States International Trade Commission. Ability to travel internationally as needed ( on average 1-2 international trips per year)
