Job Summary: The Content Creator is responsible for crafting engaging, high-quality content across digital platforms, including social media, blogs and various EquipmentShare related websites. This role offers the chance to showcase your creativity while contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on driving brand growth and audience engagement. It requires a creative mindset, critical thinking skills and an understanding of content strategy. A Content Creator works closely with the marketing team to drive brand awareness, enhance audience engagement and support lead generation, all while maintaining EquipmentShare's brand voice and ensuring quality, relevant content. Candidates with a background in heavy equipment or the equipment rental industry will have a competitive edge.

Responsibilities:
- Generate unique ideas and narratives that align with EquipmentShare's brand and objectives.
- Conduct thorough research to support content with credible information and valuable insights.
- Edit and proofread all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency.
- Incorporate SEO strategies, including keyword integration, to enhance content visibility.
- Tailor, produce, schedule and publish posts across social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the creative team to create multimedia content and support ongoing
campaigns.
- Monitor content performance and provide insights for optimization.
- Engage with audiences by responding to comments and messages promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with digital trends and content tools to maintain relevance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Social Media Savvy: Knowledge of social platforms and the ability to tailor content to each to maximize engagement.
- Creativity and Critical Thinking: Ability to develop fresh, compelling content while thinking critically to present information logically and engagingly.
- Research Skills: Proficiency in gathering credible, relevant information to support content and enhance its authority.
- SEO Knowledge: Understanding of basic SEO best practices and the keywords to boost visibility.
- Detail Orientation: From proofreading to formatting and fact-checking, to ensure content professionalism.
- Adaptability: Flexibility in adapting to new tools, platforms and industry trends.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal skills for clearly articulating ideas and
understanding audience needs. - Networking Ability: Skill in building and maintaining professional relationships to
expand influence and reach. - Consistency and Discipline: Ability to establish routines to produce regular,
high-quality content, essential for audience building. - Self-Motivation and Learning Agility: Proactive approach to self-learning and adapting
to industry changes.
Education and Experience:
- At least 2+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing or a similar role.
- Demonstrated portfolio of written and visual content across various platforms
Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for setting up content-related equipment as needed.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
