Experience with a 400+ bed facility and L2 trauma is required. License: Compact or IN RN license required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) through AHA Must-Have: - EPIC experience- Ability to work in both Pediatrics and PICU and float to NICU if necessary Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients aged 3 days to 18 years, including those with common childhood illnesses and COVID+ patients.- Manage patients in PICU with respiratory issues, trauma, donations, seizures, and poisonings.- Care for pediatric patients with trauma, respiratory issues, RSV, general surgical needs, and birth defects.- Utilize EPIC for charting and Pyxis for medication systems.- Demonstrate proficient IV skills.- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 in Pediatrics and 1:2 in PICU.- Wear Caribbean blue scrubs as part of the dress code.- Float to NICU as needed, with specific orientation and training to assist adaptation to the new environment.- Complete orientation including 24 hours on the floor with a preceptor.Note: The facility prefers candidates with additional NICU experience.
