Position Overview
The Market Development Executive (MDE) is responsible for selling Insight's analytics solutions to clients across various industries. The MDE will partner closely with Analytics Services Leadership to build an Analytics client growth strategy for new and existing services clients.
What you'll do at InsightDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in specialty areas of the Service LineBuild and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organizationsDefine and execute technical account growth strategy in partnership with Services deliveryIdentify new opportunities for specialty solutions and servicesDevelop customized proposals and presentations along with Services DeliveryConduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscapeManage the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closeWork closely with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and client satisfactionDevelop executive client trusted relationships relative to technical area of expertiseProvide regular updates to management on sales progress and pipeline developmentWhat you'll need to join Insight
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fieldMinimum of 12 years of experience in sales, preferably in analytics or related fieldProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsKnowledge of analytics solutions and servicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel as neededPhysical Demands
