Position Description
The Inventory Processor is responsible for posting all inventory transactions to the general ledger. This includes new manufacturer, used auction, dealer trades and other used vehicle purchases.
Essential Requirements
An understanding of General Accounting PrincipalsA general understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience in automotive accountingA good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and WordEssential Responsibilities
Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper approvalEnsure all inventory is posted to the general ledger timely, accurately and within company guidelines
New ManufacturerUsed auction purchaseDealer TradesThird party (non-auction) purchases
Ensure all auction sales are posted to the general ledger timely and within company guidelinesEnsure compliance with all audit key controlsReview exception reports daily and ensure all correcting entries are postedOther duties as assignedRelationships
