The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to use your Air or Space Force financial and budget expertise while supporting key Space Force Space Operations Command (SpOC) clients? Booz Allen Hamilton is a seeking a Financial and Budget Analyst to join our team in Colorado Springs. You will join a high-performance team to strategically evaluate, assess and analyze, manage and execute a financial resource portfolio across 30+ space weapon system program elements.
You will be primarily responsible for providing resource allocation and Program Objective Memorandum programming recommendations to directorate level senior personnel. You will collect mission resource needs and requirements across the Directorate and consolidate, propose adjustments and recommended prioritization and strategy, and coordinate a prioritized Directorate resource position for inclusion into the various POM corporate processes.
You will also be secondarily responsible for preparing, updating, and executing the various financial documents needed during the current year execution phase as well as presenting execution status, data, and plans to close-out current fiscal year funds to your mission area’s key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for all past, current and future resource and budgetary needs to include the review, evaluation and maintenance of all Space Force capabilities.

You Have:
Experience preparing documents needed to process budget estimates, including Execution Plans, Spend Plans, and Unfunded Requirement justification, and producing budget financial request documents including AF 9’s, MIPR’s, or MORD’s
Experience in Air Force, Space Force, or DoD staffing processes
Experience with creating verbal and written communication products for clients, including presentations, memorandums, data analysis products and financial documentation
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice if you Have:
2+ years of experience above an operational wing or delta level
Knowledge of the various Space Force weapon systems and capabilities
Ability to independently multi-task as required and turn staff products rapidly in a dynamic team environment
Ability to work with both internal and external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers
Possession of excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Master’s degree
Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or Level II/III FM Certification
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
