Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support State License - As applicable within 30 days prior to start date Job Details Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Telemetry unit with diagnoses including CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues Ratio / Census: 1:4-5; 36 Rooms with average daily census of 35 Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color: Navy Blue Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis. Job Requirements State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date Annual Nursys (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date Required for Tele, MS/Tele, IMCU, ER, Card tele/step-down, ICU, PCU. Skills Checklist within 12 months - updated annually Diplomas required for RRT’s Verification of most recent employer required. All assignments with one agency, are considered one employment.
