We are looking an Enginnering Project Manager for our Houston Office. Exolum is focused on growth and is looking for a driven individual with experience on technical aspects to support the development Exolum´s business interests in the US and the Americas market. The ideal candidate should be excited about the opportunity to support the business development interests from an engineering and technical perspective in the competitive and promising energy/fuels and petrochemical markets. The candidate should have experience in assets technical assessment, engineering design and cost estimation. The incumbent will initially report to the Americas Lead. MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Supporting the BusDev activities by: Identifying attractive assets and locations. Assessing assets attractiveness from a technical perspective and its integrity. Providing in-house cost estimates (Devex, Capex and Opex). Providing in-house conceptual engineering designs aligned with customer’s needs. Supervising basic engineering and FEED and their related cost estimates . Designing engineering and execution/construction schedules/calendars & staffing. Permitting road maps. -Supporting M&A transactions leading technical due diligence. -Delivering (OTOBOS) construction projects, including detail engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up, scheduling, budget monitoring, risk assessment… -Overseeing & ensuring performance of engineering and construction contractors. -Adhering and complying with Exolum´s Global policy of projects execution. -Adhering and complying with HSSE standards of the company. -Identifying and selecting engineering and construction firms in line with Procurement policies. -Preparing/scoping technical RFQ and evaluating technical proposals from contractors. -Supporting new technologies evaluation in cooperation with Global Center of Excellence (COE) REQUIREMENTS Education: -Master Degree in Engineering -Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable Experience: -At least 15 years total experience. -Min 10 years in Engineering and Infrastructure Projects Execution. -Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals and Energy Transition related businesses. -Familiarity with hydrogen and low-carbon alternative fuels. -Familiarity with logistics assets in the US, at least in the Gulf Coast area Skills/competencies: -Proactivity and team player -Results oriented -Analytical and business acumen -Clear and effective communication -Solid planning and prioritization -Working under pressure Languages: -English -Spanish desirable Other requirements: -Excel or equivalent -PowerPoint or equivalent -Engineering design tools
