Duties & Responsibilities: Case Management: Manage a high volume of personal injury cases, ensuring all aspects of the litigation process are handled efficiently and effectively. Client Representation: Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings, advocating zealously on their behalf. Legal Research & Writing: Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity. Trial Preparation & Litigation: Prepare cases for trial, including developing case strategies, gathering and analyzing evidence, deposing witnesses, and negotiating settlements. Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing legal team. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates, answering questions, and managing expectations throughout the litigation process. Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all legal activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school. Minimum of 5-10 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on personal injury cases. Active and good standing with the State Bar. Extensive knowledge of personal injury law and litigation procedures. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines. Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities. High level of professionalism and ethical standards. Preferred Qualifications: Trial Experience: 4 to 10 jury trials. Significant trial experience with a successful track record in personal injury cases. Commercial insurance and 18-wheeler defense on major seven or eight figure personal injury cases, helpful Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable settlement for clients. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
