Job Title: Personal Injury Attorney Location: Torrance, CA Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $175,000 - $180,000 per year Job Description Are you a driven and passionate litigator ready to represent seriously injured individuals and seek justice on their behalf? Join a dynamic personal injury litigation and trial practice, where you will work alongside one of California’s top trial attorneys and an experienced legal team. This position offers the opportunity to manage a caseload, litigate cases, participate in depositions and mediations, and gain trial experience in a collaborative and rewarding environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of 30-40 personal injury cases, acting as lead attorney from filing through trial. Develop case strategies and legal theories to achieve favorable outcomes. Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses. Engage in settlement negotiations and mediation efforts. Act as second chair in trials, supporting and learning from an experienced trial lawyer. Maintain regular client communication to provide updates and guidance throughout the litigation process. Oversee and direct support staff, including paralegals, to ensure effective case management. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation (trial experience highly desired). Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active California State Bar membership in good standing. Proven ability to manage a caseload and resolve high-value cases effectively. Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. A client-focused approach with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
