Position Summary: We are seeking a creative, results-driven Social Media and Marketing Specialist to join our growing Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting engaging content across social media platforms and will play a key role in helping our brand connect with a diverse audience. You will work alongside internal and external teams to manage and optimize social media campaigns, ensuring content aligns with our brand's voice and objectives. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy and Content Creation: Develop and implement comprehensive social media content plans aligned with RiteRug Flooring's brand identity and business goals. Produce engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok), including videos, images, and copy, that promotes products, services, and company events. Ideate, film, and edit original video content (using mobile devices or editing software) to create viral-worthy social media content, particularly on TikTok and Instagram. Collaboration and Campaign Management: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure content is on-brand and aligns with key business initiatives. Support key marketing campaigns and sales events through social media, helping to drive follower growth, engagement, traffic, and conversions. Trend Monitoring and Analysis: Stay on top of the latest social media trends, formats, and best practices to ensure content is innovative and highly engaging. Provide regular insights on campaign performance and adjust strategies based on analytics to continuously improve engagement and drive results. Content and Creative Development: Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including digital ads, emails, website content, and blog articles, working closely with design and marketing teams. Additional Duties: Participate in the planning and execution of internal and external communications. Perform other related duties as needed to support overall marketing and brand strategies. Preferred Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in social media content production, marketing, or a related field (corporate or agency setting). Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, graphic design, marketing, or a similar discipline. Expertise in multimedia content creation and editing, including video production and social-first editing techniques for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other design and editing software. A deep understanding of social media culture, trends, and best practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
