Payroll Administrator- Human Resources Immediate opening in Pasadena $30.00 - $34.00 per hour Pasadena, CA A Payroll Processor is responsible for accurately managing payroll tasks, ensuring that employees are paid on time and according to established guidelines and legal requirements. This role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong analytical skills. Qualifications: 3years of previous experience in Human Resources Experience processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now, Multistate Payroll administration and payroll audits Payroll processing experience General knowledge of labor and employment laws Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Strong attention to detail Calculate and withhold taxes, social security, Medicare, and other mandatory deductions. Prepare and submit payroll taxes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Assist with year-end tasks such as W-2 preparation and filing. Payroll Processing: Collect and verify employee time sheets and attendance records. Enter payroll data into systems and ensure accuracy in hours worked, pay rates, deductions, and taxes. Process payments via direct deposit, checks, or other payment methods. Tax and Compliance: Calculate and withhold taxes, social security, Medicare, and other mandatory deductions. Prepare and submit payroll taxes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Assist with year-end tasks such as W-2 preparation and filing.
