LVI are working with a leading construction and project management firm specializing in healthcare, educational and commercial construction across the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. Due to natural growth, we are seeking an experienced K12/County Schools Senior Project Manager to join the team and contribute to the success of an ambitious and reputable division in the Washington DC area. Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in managing K8 or K12 construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction of Schools, a deep understanding of county schools regulations and compliance, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to successful project completion. Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of K12 construction projects, from initial conception to final completion. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met. Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles to ensure project success. Manage, mentor and lead a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to maintain clear lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure the timely delivery of projects within scope and budget constraints. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, healthcare regulations, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational facilities construction project management. In-depth knowledge of Virginia construction regulations, codes, and standards. Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from conception to completion. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
