Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Hematology and Oncology in Minnesota

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Hematology Oncology Job Duration: 13 months Shift: 7 days per week, including weekends and overnights (inpatient only) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Minnesota State License required Certifications: BLS; Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Must-Have: - ABMS Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology - Minnesota State License - BLS Certification Job Description: - Provide inpatient coverage for Hematology and Oncology units. - Manage and assess VAD/CV Catheters and chemotherapy, including intrathecal procedures. - Call schedule from 5 pm to 8 am with low call volumes, averaging 1-2 calls per night. - Responsible for adult patient population coverage. - Average of 10 or more patients per day for hospital call/rounding. - Work in a Level 1 Trauma hospital setting. - Utilize EPIC for documentation and electronic medical records. - Completion of credentialing expected within 3-4 months; the candidate must have a valid Minnesota license. Please note, credentialing costs or application fees are not reimbursed. Weekends are required as part of the schedule.
