Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Hematology and Oncology in Wisconsin

Job Title: Locum Tenens Physician Job Specialty: Oncology, Internal Medicine - Hematology Job Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day - 5x8 - 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Experience: Fellowship - 3 Years License: Board Certification Eligible Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS Must-Have: Board Certified Job Description: - Seeking a full-time locum tenens physician to join our oncology department on an ongoing basis. - Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. - On-call duty one weekend per month, primarily involving phone consultations from Friday night to Monday morning. - Manage a typical hematology/oncology practice with optional bone marrow biopsies. - Utilize Intellidose TxM for practice management. - Average patient encounters per shift: 15-20. - Participate in specialty skills such as: - Management of bone marrow transplants (preferred) - Participation on a tumor board (preferred) - Blood bank experience (preferred) - Management of VAD/CV catheters (preferred) - FNA/Biopsy (preferred) - Chemotherapy administration (intrathecal and intracavitary) (preferred) - Adhere to the use of "real-time" Mobile Time Clock for tracking hours, preferably with GPS capability. - Facility does not require trauma level familiarity. - Estimated credentialing time frame is 60 days.
