Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Hematology and Oncology in Wisconsin

Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM - 40 Hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Board Certification Required; Minimum Board Certification Eligible Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS Must-Have: - Fellowship (3 years) Job Description: - Provide full-time, ongoing coverage in the Oncology department. - Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. - Engage in outreach to Stevens Point two days a week; exact schedule will be determined. - Conduct solo practice with support from three nurse practitioners in the department. - Participate in call duties, which are required two weeks per month; call is shared with others in the system, one week at a time. - Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and intrathecal chemotherapy. - Utilize "real-time" Mobile Time Clock, preferably with GPS functionality. - Handle patient encounters, averaging 10-15 per shift. - Collaborate with available radiation oncology services. - Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days with a clean file. - Facility trauma level is 0, and it does not have a pediatric trauma designation. - Nearest airport and lodging recommendations available upon request. Note: Candidates must not require international medical licensure and should meet all necessary credentialing requirements.
