In this impactful role, you will provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight for our natural resource stewardship and agroecology initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative environmental restoration and conservation programs that tackle pressing national and global climate challenges. The Deputy Director will lead a dedicated team focused on managing agricultural and natural lands to promote biodiversity, develop science-based research, and cultivate partnerships for significant research and policy initiatives. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in environmental science, ecology, natural resource management, or related fields, with a PhD or equivalent experience preferred. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of natural climate solutions, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable agriculture practices, along with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to foster high-impact partnerships. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to represent the organization as a thought leader in conservation, agroecology, and climate resilience in various forums. This role also includes operational oversight, resource mobilization, and management, ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of our conservation efforts.
