Senior IT Project Manager

Role: Sr. IT Project Manager ( Payments and/or POS) Location: Pleasanton, CA ( Hybrid) Type: 6-12 months Bill Rate: $115/HR W2 & LOCALs only. Description: Responsible for providing overall leadership for a project. Develops milestones and resource requirements, tracks the execution of and is accountable for deliverables. Mentors' junior members of project teams on development and support processes. 10 years of experience In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing multiple Information Technology projects of varying complexity from original concept through design, testing, planning, and implementation. Initial project assignment pertains to an inflight project that is transitioning from testing to implementation. Job Duties: Responsible for managing multiple information technology projects including but not limited to schedule development, Invoicing, SOW, scope, resource, and risk management of system solutions Provides verbal and written project status reports to internal and external leadership Proactively manages project issues and risks, and escalates when appropriate Develops and maintains project budgets from initiation through completion of project Develops and manages detailed project work plans including the definition of key activities and tasks, the allocation of appropriate resources, the delegation of activities to project team members, and the execution of activities and tasks Leads project teams by demonstrating the ability to effectively lead team members, facilitate team discussions, understand group dynamics, and constantly achieve outcomes Job Requirements: 10 years leading information technology projects Experience with payment and/or point of sale applications and processes a major plus Ability to confidently plan and lead multiple organizations and vendors through all activities necessary to implement payment software upgrades. Highly proficient in MS Project, MS excel, MS Office and budgeting. Knowledge of Payments, Networks, software integration. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or other closely related field Project Description lbertson's is in the process of integrating into a new payments SAAS solution for their over 350 fuel locations. This is a multi-vendor solution, to be integrated within existing MS infrastructure and MS SQL database The applicant for the position will be assuming the in-flight project from QA to production implementation. Scheduling and managing meetings with multiple tech, vendor, and QA staff teams. Recording minutes. assigning action items, following up on project activities, tracking and reporting all project issues.
