Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,092 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS or ENPC TNS or TNCC NIHSS Job Details Facility in Illinois is looking for travel ER nurses Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience. This contract is for 12 hour shifts for 13 weeks. Job Requirements ER experience of at least 2 years Flexibility to rotating start times Moderate sedation experience Experience with all critical care drips Able to read and interpret monitoring equipment Comfortable working with a wide age range of patients from neonates to geriatrics Schedule Information 12 hour shifts for a contract duration of 13 weeks Start times between 9am-1pm Every other weekend rotation is required Holidays are rotated with the core staff to meet the needs of the unit No call or standby requirement Floating to MS, Tele, ICU may be necessary Unit Specific Information Nurse to patient ratios of 1:4-5, adjusted according to staffing and acuity Common diagnoses include a wide range from minor injuries to critical cases Tech and nurse shifts vary, with flexibility to work all shifts being key Additional Details This is a non-trauma center Stemi/Stroke ready facility Cath lab availability depends on day of the week/hours 24 beds in ED including 4 behavioral health safe rooms In-house security available 24/7 Treats 60-80 patients per 24 hours ED Techs with assorted duties and skills RT equipment and services as needed
