Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ARDMS Job Details 1 year minimum experience; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists; experience with 2D/3D Echo, Bubble study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast agents, Pharmacologic Stress Echos, TEE & Treadmill Stress Echos. Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis. Job Requirements Certifications Required: BLS, ARDMS State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date RRTs & CRTs: Must be licensed by the State of Georgia Schedule Information Ratio/Census: Not specified Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, GE, Hitachi, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite & Toshiba Scrub Color: Not specified RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified Floating: Yes within department and facility, but always a possibility to float to sister campus – Piedmont Eastside South Call Requirements: In rotation. Call is roughly 7 days in a 1 month period. Holidays: Expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period Unit Specific Information Job Specialty: Radiology/Cardiology Additional Details Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
