Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/09/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS, ARDMS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists; experience with 2D/3D Echo, Bubble study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast agents, Pharmacologic Stress Echos, TEE & Treadmill Stress Echos. Ratio / Census: Not specified Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, GE, Hitachi, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite & Toshiba Scrub Color: Not specified RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified Floating: Yes within department and facility, but always a possibility to float to sister campus Piedmont Eastside South Call Requirements: - In rotation.
