F Patient Care Modality: Primary Dress Code Scrubs/color: Hospital provided scrubs, street clothes that come to work in have to be clean & respectful in appearance. Must arrive/leave in street clothes (can’t wear scrubs). Shoes: Non-skid, closed toe, athletic shoes are ok, must wear heel strap with clogs Jewelry: Professional, Minimal, No facial piercing other than ears Hair/Beard: Professional, hair shoulder length and longer must be pulled back, facial hair must be neat and trimmed Nail Polish: No gels, acrylics, or extensions. Patient Population (Diagnoses): 20% High Risk – Diabetics, Pre-Eclampsia, Advanced Maternal Age, low incidence of HIV & hard drug abuse. MUST BE competent & comfortable looking after high risk, MgSO4 infusions. IDDM, placenta Previa, maternal cardiac hx, twins, lupus. C-Sections, tubal ligations, D&C, post amnio.
