Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mammography Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/02/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunities Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Mammography Tech Shift: Days / 8:30a-5p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week Length: 13 weeks Requirements: PA License Will accept 1 year experience Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school Digital - Required 3D - Required BLS Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible 2 years of experience in Mammography preferred Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred Prior quality control experience preferred Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software and eRad is preferred Others: 1st time travelers accepted MOBILE UNIT The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to Washington Radiology; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience. Mammography Skills / Procedures / Experience:Digital - Required3D - RequiredTwo years of experience in Mammography preferredWill accept less than 2 years experience and 1st time travelers.
