Not Applicable Regular Primary Responsibilities: Lead Technical Solutions Design & Implementation: Architect and implement SharePoint-based solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, and on-premises file shares. Oversee the design, setup, and maintenance of SharePoint sites, SharePoint hubs, and Power BI integrations to enable seamless data reporting and collaboration. Governance, Security, and Compliance: Establish, enforce, and maintain SharePoint governance policies to ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and organizational security protocols. Manage security configurations such as DLP, Azure AD, eDiscovery, Cloud App Security, and Conditional Access to maintain robust compliance across all SharePoint environments. Proactively monitor and manage the security and integrity of SharePoint sites, ensuring proper access controls and data protection measures are in place. Migration & System Optimization: Lead and support the migration of SharePoint from on-premises to online environments, ensuring smooth transitions, minimal downtime, and seamless integration with other Microsoft 365 applications. Troubleshoot, resolve, and proactively optimize the performance of SharePoint sites, ensuring high availability and reliability for end users. Participate in strategic migration projects, including data migration, system upgrades, and cloud adoption. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor for stakeholders, offering guidance on SharePoint best practices, architecture, and business process optimization. Work closely with internal teams to understand business challenges and translate them into effective SharePoint solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity. Technical Leadership & Support: Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members, assisting in the discovery, design, deployment, and support of SharePoint solutions. Drive the discovery, design, and configuration of Microsoft 365 technologies, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and exceed performance expectations. Serve as the subject matter expert on SharePoint, PowerShell scripting, and related technologies, helping resolve complex issues and improve system functionality. Stay Current with Technology & Industry Trends: Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 updates, SharePoint innovations, and cloud technologies. Communicate relevant changes and opportunities to the broader team. Participate in Microsoft planning sessions and industry conferences to remain ahead of trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Service Desk & End-User Support: Respond to Service Desk tickets, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SharePoint functionality, access, performance, and security. Provide end-user support and guidance on best practices for SharePoint usage and management, ensuring maximum productivity and minimal disruption. U.S. Citizenship is required. 2 years of SharePoint administration experience, including management of SharePoint on-premises and online environments. Proven expertise with Microsoft 365 technologies such as Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Power BI, and Azure AD. Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation, troubleshooting, and system optimization. Solid background in business process analysis, with a deep understanding of content management and information architecture. Experience managing complex SharePoint migrations, including discovery, design, implementation, and post-migration support. Strong experience with security management tools like DLP, Purview, eDiscovery, and Conditional Access Experience with related technologies such as Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, and Cloud App Security. Exposure to JavaScript, jQuery, and .NET for creating customized SharePoint solutions is preferred. Education & Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or SharePoint Administrator) are highly desirable. Location and Compensation : The position is a remote based position with the ability to travel to Valiant locations as needed.
