We are seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Developer to support a DoD Healthcare Management program Successful Candidate will: Have a deep understanding of SharePoint development, architecture, administration, maintenance, and migrations. Be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex SharePoint solutions, as well as migrating content and applications between legacy SharePoint environments and SharePoint Online. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers and site collection administrators, and ensuring seamless SharePoint/Microsoft technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement advanced SharePoint solutions, including web parts, workflows, and integrations with third-party systems. Lead SharePoint migrations to ensure smooth content/applications transfers and encourage user adoption in the new environment. Customize and improve SharePoint Online and On-Premises environments using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Automate, and PowerApps. Collaborate with stakeholders to document and translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions. Develop custom SharePoint components using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and other web technologies. Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint architecture, workflows, managed metadata structures, and associated customizations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, site collection administrators, system users, and stakeholders. Stay updated with SharePoint technologies, including cloud-based solutions (SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365), and best practices. Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft services such as Teams, OneDrive, and Azure. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2013/2016/2019. Strong experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, Power Automate, PowerApps. Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. Expertise in server-side development using C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET. Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, including Web Services, REST APIs, CSOM, JSOM, and SOAP. Experience with Microsoft Graph API, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps. Knowledge of database management and integration using SQL Server. Experience with Microsoft 365 tools and services (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange). Migration Tools: Extensive hands-on experience with ShareGate for content and environment migrations between SharePoint On-Premises and SharePoint Online. Administration Skills: Expertise in managing SharePoint farms, site collections, and tenant administration. Proficient in SharePoint configuration and security management (permissions, user profiles, etc.). Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to lead technical discussions and drive project success. Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer Associate Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate MCSE: Productivity Solutions Expert (or relevant legacy certifications) ITIL or PMP certification (desirable) Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
