Overview Job Purpose The ICE Internship Program offers a dynamic experience that combines on-the-job training with exciting team projects, community outreach, social events, and professional development sessions. You'll have the chance to build meaningful professional relationships and sharpen your interpersonal skills, all while making an impact. The Software Engineer Intern will participate in Agile development of Mortgage Technology's product Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) Digital Experience (DX). Responsibilities Create and adjust API endpoints for backend services (backend-for-frontend) (BFF) UI React micro frontend implementations Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned by an experienced manager Interact with, support business partners, and participate in projects that directly impact business value Build professional relationships and enhance interpersonal skills Performs other related duties as assigned Knowledge and Experience Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and be at least advancing to their senior year of study, or has obtained a bachelor's degree Interested in working on UI (React micro frontend), APIs, and backend (Java/Springboot microservice) Familiar with agile software development methodology Familiarity with Cloud services and architecture a plus Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills Possesses effective computer skills, with a solid working knowledge of MS Office Internship Program Schedule Internships start on either May 12, 2025, or June 9, 2025, and run until August 1, 2025.
