Corporate Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary (Energy transactional work) – Houston Duvera's client, a top global law firm with locations across the US, Europe, and Asia, is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary for their Houston downtown office. This role will support 5-6 attorneys on average and comes with a 37.5-hour workweek, competitive pay, full benefits including a pension plan, and a positive, collaborative HR environment. Key Responsibilities: Document Management : Type, format, edit, and finalize documents, including correspondence and agreements, ensuring they meet firm standards. Time and Billing : Manage and proof daily time entries; assist with billing coordination as needed. Travel & Expense Coordination : Arrange and process travel for attorneys and clients, including expense reimbursements. Scheduling & Calendar Management : Coordinate meetings, conferences, and appointments, and handle conference room and catering arrangements. File & Record Management : Maintain client files in line with Records Management standards. General Administrative Support : Assist with new client/matter processing, expense reports, and task tracking using the Quest system.
