About the Job: We are currently looking to hire a Manager, Sales Planning The Sales Planning Manager will partner with Sales division leaders and be responsible for the sales division’s annual sales plan to include the monthly planning process, ensuring accuracy across various metrics while incorporating specific customer and shopper insights into the process. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of 3 days per week onsite in Broomfield, CO. Reports to: Director, Planning & Revenue Growth Management In this role, you will be responsible for: Duties and Responsibilities: Create the division’s sales plan and provide the tools to the sales team to be successful in execution across KPIs within specific customer scope. Develop business plans to deliver maximum revenue and profit for Horizon Organic. Partner with Commercial department to adapt broad marketplace strategy into customer-centric strategies execution within assigned trade budgets. Align with finance department P&L inputs through understanding all financial components of the plan within sales division scope from Gross to Net. Support the sales leads with distribution forecast accuracy through DCP management and partner with category department to make necessary adjustments based on trend and velocity analysis. Support representation of the Division and customer needs within the company Other duties as assigned. Competencies and Skills: Strong planning, financial, and analytic competencies required. Effective communication and presentation skills required. Ability to deliver in depth analysis on key category dynamics & trends, competitive activity & performance, customer gaps & opportunities, company implications and short-term strategies to drive the business and hit company objectives. Attention to details is a must. Ensure accuracy across the following metrics: Volume – Own and manage the monthly Demand Planning Process for the division by developing and aligning short and medium forecasts with cross functional teams, analyzing business and category trends, identifying business risk/opportunities vs budgets, and driving business growth solutions/actions. Through data and analytics, the sales planning manager must have an informed opinion and be able to influence the Demand Planning process and team to achieve strong planning accuracy Trade / Merchandising costs – in addition to partnering in the creation of the plan, ensuring it meets deployment and ensuring planning accuracy. The planning manager will collaborate with sales team and finance team on deduction management and resolution. Commercial terms costs Slotting and Home-store costs The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 commensurate with experience.
