Position Overview: The Superintendent will oversee all field activities on multifamily residential construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This includes managing crews, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring compliance with plans, safety standards, and quality expectations. Key Responsibilities: Field Operations: Manage day-to-day construction activities for multifamily projects, ensuring work is completed according to specifications, timelines, and budgets. Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, labor crews, and vendors. Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment. Schedule Management: Create and maintain detailed construction schedules to ensure timely project delivery. Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to project plans and building codes. Safety: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety standards. Client Relations: Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Problem Solving: Resolve on-site challenges and delays, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders to implement effective solutions. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing multifamily construction projects. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and drive project performance. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety regulations. Familiar with reading and interpreting blueprints. Communication: Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions. Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification required; LEED certification is a plus.
