Strong leadership and a supportive company culture that values growth and collaboration Great location, making your daily commute stress-free :) Payroll Manger Job Description: Oversee all aspects of payroll processing, including wage calculation, deductions, bonuses, and benefit allocations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, staying updated on relevant legislation and applying changes to company payroll policies. Oversee payroll system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement system updates as necessary, working closely with HR and IT departments to optimize system performance. Generate detailed payroll reports and metrics, analyzing trends and discrepancies to provide actionable insights to senior management. Manage and mentor the payroll team, providing training, setting goals, and conducting performance evaluations to support professional growth. Continuously assess payroll processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Address and resolve complex payroll inquiries and issues, acting as the primary point of contact for employee payroll concerns. Conduct regular internal payroll audits and work with external auditors during audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. Qualifications: Winner with a can-do attitude Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7 years of payroll experience, with 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Proficiency in payroll software, with experience in SAP Concur, ADP, and Navision as a plus. Strong knowledge of payroll processing, accounting principles, and tax regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in payroll reporting and data analysis. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a team and communicate with employees and management. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus.
