Computer Aided Design Designer

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a CAD Technician in Houston, Texas for an engineering client located in Corpus Christi, Texas. He/she will be responsible for working on multiple Civil/Structural CAD projects for different groups at one time and must have very strong written and verbal communication skills. This person must adhere to all QC protocols; checking and adjustment of work product prior to submission to others for QC confirmations and will utilize Civil 3D daily. Other duties include attending weekly meetings and project planning. Required Skills & Experience 5 years of CAD experience specifically working on civil/structural projects Proficient with Civil3D Associates degree Proficient with MS Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be comfortable working in office Nice to Have Skills & Experience BS degree Revit experience MicroStation experience Structural steel detailing experience
