Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,854 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS CA license COVID Vaccine Required (Certification) Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced PCU RN for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience. Job Requirements Must have 2-3 years of experience in specialty - open to first time travelers. RN’s should have experience in a ICU stepdown or PCU unit. Training is telemetry. Training in high risk medications. Experience in Arterial and CVP pressure lines; titrating pressors; precedex; trach & stable vented patients. Must be able to titrate drips. Common titratable &/or set rate drips include Precedex, dopamine, dobutamine, levophed. Schedule Information Shifts are 12Hr starting at 645am/pm. 3 shifts/week. Schedules made out about 2-3 weeks in advance initially, then try to schedule them out 9 weeks in advance. Self-scheduling for the most part. Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule, Days - Sat/Sun, Nights - Fri/Sat. No call or standby requirement. Unit Specific Information Nights, Every Other Weekend, First to Float Scrub Color/Dress code: Navy blue Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 shift on unit Additional Details Very close-knit team with effective teamwork. They stress the patient experience on the unit and they want someone who knows and understands HCAHPS and core measures.
