Specialty Store Wholesale Account Executive

OVERVIEW: Since its launch in 2000, Zoë Chicco has created a cult following among celebrities and trendsetters alike and is now carried in over 200 stores globally. We’re proud of the stable growth we have experienced and are looking for a Wholesale Account Executive to join our expanding downtown Los Angeles team to focus on growing our Wholesale Specialty Store business Our ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, can improvise and think on their feet, has a keen eye, and detail oriented. This role reports to the Director of Sales and will oversee many existing stores as well as work to grow the business with new store additions. Some travel is required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for maintaining and growing both new and existing assigned wholesale accounts. Work with buyers on creating seasonal stock orders and reorder proposals based on selling history and current best sellers. Ensure strong classification coverage on bulk orders that will allow for strong solid representation of the brand in store. Ensure all orders are submitted to production correctly and in a timely manner. Act as liaison between stores and in-house production team. Work with accounts to answer any questions they may have and communicate any relevant information to them. Handle special orders and customer requests. Target new business through prospecting, analyze brand adjacency and positioning, and survey the general market for additional wholesale opportunities. Prepare for and attend the Couture trade show and Melee trade show along with any other necessary market needs that arise. Prepare for, and in some cases attend, trunk shows scheduled with stores. Provide product and brand knowledge to stores to ensure buyers and staff have all necessary tools to sell the collection at retail. Responsible for showroom upkeep and maintenance, as well as semi-annual inventory and tracking of the master sample set. Able to perform any additional tasks as needed by the company. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrate a passion for jewelry and relationship-building. Ability to adapt to procedures unique to the business. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have confidence to present materials in a knowledgeable and engaging manner. Have a basic understanding of retail math and sale numbers. Proficient in Excel. Must be reliable, trustworthy, and consistently follow through. Demonstrates strong time management skills. Is self-motivated and takes initiative to complete tasks quickly and independently. Experience working on a team is a must. Excels at creative and administrative tasks as well as interpersonal communication. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Strong visual merchandising skills. Experience in the fine jewelry industry is a plus. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
