Ansbacher Law seeks a trial lawyer with 2-5 years of experience interested in working in a fast-paced and well-established law firm. Our litigation team focuses on construction claims and commercial litigation. We prosecute and defend actions throughout Florida. The position is on-site at our convenient Lake Mary office. The firm regularly sends associates to seminars and practice clinics for education and skill development. Court Time as first and second chair at hearings, trials (including jury trials), and arbitration hearings. You will not be buried in a library researching. All of our associates appear regularly in court and arbitration hearings, where they have the opportunity to argue motions and present evidence. ADR skill development. Our associates regularly appear and actively participate in mediations and settlement conferences. Client Contact . All of our attorneys work directly with clients, enabling you to develop or enhance your 'rainmaking' skills. Competitive Salary & Benefits. Commuting Distance to Lake Mary Office - Onsite Only Position. Admission to Florida Bar. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong Academic Record for Recent Graduates. Strong work ethic and communication skills. What we are looking for in a candidate: Strong Writing Skills. We draft and argue sophisticated trial motions and appellate briefs. Proven experience in analyzing complex issues and drafting persuasive documents is highly valued. We recognize the value of law review or other publication experience. Our associates will be in front of clients, judges, and arbitrators and must be comfortable speaking confidently. We seek attorneys capable of developing into first-chair trial lawyers. Organization. Many of our cases involve dozens of parties and hundreds of pleadings, requiring excellent time management and organizational skills. Leadership. The attorney will be responsible for leading our Lake Mary team.
