TechHuman is seeking a Payroll Configuration Manager with excellent knowledge in other Workday payroll processing and reporting, or UKG payroll processing and reporting (you'll be trained extensively on both systems) This permanent position will include one direct report initially and requires a sophisticated communicator with adept skills in stakeholder management, Workday or UKG configuration and reporting, auditing, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities: Leverage expertise in full-cycle payroll processing, including managing multi-state payroll and overseeing the associated data flow. Design, document, and configure business processes, advanced calculated fields, and custom reporting within Workday. Use your knowledge of full cycle payroll processing, including multi-state payroll, and related data flow to suggest improvements and manage the environment. Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and completeness in all tasks and deliverables. Demonstrated ability to create clear, comprehensive configuration specification documentation. Possess strong technical aptitude and analytical skills, with a proven ability to solve complex problems and implement creative solutions. Must-haves: A minimum five years of relevant work experience to include a combination of data processing, HRIS system analysis, knowledge of integration design and management, report/query design and development, and execution of system test scripts. Proficiency with configuring either Workday or UKG modules at-scale, including: Two years of professional experience using Workday, with an emphasis on Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Workforce Management and Reporting, HCM Core, Benefits, and Compensation; or Two years of professional experience using Kronos Timekeeping, Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) and/or UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly Dimensions). Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required. Nice-to-haves: FPC/CPP Certification Prior experience participating in at least one payroll-related HRIS upgrade
