Construction Safety Management Salary: Open to negotiation, based on experience Location of job site: Andover, Massachusetts Certification& Qualifications: CSP(Certified safety professional) STS (Safety Trained Supervisor), STSC ( Safety Trained supervision construction) Knowledge of OSHA, local safety laws, and other regulatory agencies OSHA 500 30-Hour Construction Experience in the construction industry is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Sound/ethical judgment, strong leadership skills, and ability to work independently. CPR/First Aid Certified. Key responsibilities: We are looking for a certified construction safety professional on site who plays an essential role in assisting our client's project team in maintaining a safe working environment on construction and project sites. This resource is needed to create the Safety Management Team and leverage leadership skills in conjunction with BIC industry safe practices and systems. Once the team is created, the mission is established, aligned, and communicated across all levels of the team, this position involves overseeing the implementation of safety protocols, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and safety practices of the Safety Management Team, and review & approve safety plan and permits. By closely monitoring the work environment and addressing potential hazards, the certified safety professional also helps to minimize risks of accidents and injuries, ensuring that projects proceed smoothly and safely. The following is a list of primary responsibilities this certified safety professional has in the area of occupational safety and health. As a certified safety professional, Implement and enforce the OSHA guidelines and health and safety policies to ensure a safe work environment for all project craft. As part of construction service, perform daily site inspections and condition audit to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures with IFOA partners together. If needed, develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to ensure understanding and compliance with safety protocols. Participate investigation of safety incidents to determine causes and propose measures to prevent future occurrences and track the action plan completion status. Coordinate with trader partner safety managers and supervisors to integrate safety practices into daily operations and planning. As safety Rep. - review and check IFOA partners CWP and DHAs and escalate if any outages Join construction DDS meeting and provide safety inputs Perform Daily construction safety BOS&OFS Review and provide professional concur to lifting and rigging plan as owner' Rep. Plan, lead, and participate in job site safety meetings with IFOA partner team Follow up with IFOA partner's representatives to ensure proper disciplinary procedures. Support project safety training and orientation and weekly safety toolbox Escalate any safety concern in a timely manner for leadership intervention Lead Non-IFOA scope construction safety management Deliverables: CWP/ DHA are reviewed on daily basis. Daily field audit and inspection, including: Sit in trade daily toolbox meeting and provide the feedback. Field condition check and share feedback in DDS. Audit mobile equipment/ power tools daily inspection. Inspect barricade and signage of construction area. Review and inputs to project safety plan and method statement. Create and lead the safety management team. Health check of project safety system (CSE, Fall prevention, LOTO….) Safety training to craft as needed. Non-IFOA construction safety management including: Develop safety management plan Lead daily construction safety execution on site (JSA/STA, Inspections, PTW…) Lead incident MCA and action plan Lead safety training and qualification
