Position Description Bluebird Kids Health is seeking an experienced and passionate recruiting leader with a patient and family-first mindset to serve as our Recruiting Consultant. The Recruiting Consultant will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our mission of providing exceptional care to children and their families. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, experience recruiting clinical and non-clinical roles, and a commitment to identifying candidates who align with our values and culture. What You’ll Do (Duties & Responsibilities) Talent Sourcing & Acquisition Coordinate and manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and feedback collection. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit. Support Bluebird leadership team on physician recruitment strategies to grow practice footprint(s) and access. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for clinical, non-clinical and corporate support roles, along with creating hiring plans for de-novo market and new practice growth objectives. Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to build a robust talent pipeline. Conduct proactive searches for passive candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networks. Recruiting Process Management & Collaboration Lead weekly talent pipeline and planning meetings with Bluebird leadership team. Partner with both practice and corporate hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop customized recruitment plans, and coach on interview best practices and processes. Provide subject matter expert advice on market trends, candidate availability, and competitive compensation to hiring managers. Build and establish standard recruiting processes with an eye towards transparency and optimal candidate experience. Work closely with hiring managers to define job requirements, refine job descriptions, and create interview guides. Candidate Experience Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely follow-up. Embody mission and core values in every candidate interaction, cultivating an exceptional experience for our talent community. Reporting, Analytics & Compliance Develop and maintain recruiting dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics to monitor performance and effectiveness, driving proactive strategies to continuously improve against KPIs. Analyze data related to the recruitment funnel, candidate sources, time-to-hire, quality of hire, cost per hire, retention rates, candidate experience and other key KPI metrics. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies. Prepare and present recruitment metrics and reports to Bluebird leadership. Employer Branding Represent Bluebird Kids at job fairs, conferences, and networking events to promote our employer brand. Develop and execute initiatives to enhance the company’s reputation as an employer of choice in the pediatric healthcare field. Establish and maintain social media and digital presence as means to build awareness and attract talent (i.e. LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.) Perform other duties as assigned What You’ll Need (Education, Experience, Certifications) Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years recruiting experience with track-record of high-performance, preferably in the healthcare industry; physician recruitment experience a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruitment software. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
