Talent Vision, a premier Staffing and Consulting Firm, is partnering with a dynamic charter school in Rochester, NY, to fill the role of Instructional Coach. In this position, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning through coaching and support for educators. Your expertise in instructional strategies and your ability to foster professional growth will directly impact student achievement and create a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement effective instructional strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. Provide one-on-one coaching and support through classroom observations, feedback sessions, and professional development workshops. Facilitate collaborative planning sessions to enhance curriculum design and integration of best practices. Assist teachers in the use of data analysis to inform instructional decision-making and track student progress. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by promoting reflection and self-assessment among educators. Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions on innovative teaching methods and curriculum updates. Develop and maintain strong relationships with educators, administration, and staff to foster a positive and collaborative school culture. Stay informed about current educational research, trends, and best practices to provide relevant resources and support. Support the implementation of school-wide initiatives and instructional goals aligned with the school's vision. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. Must hold or be eligible for a certificate issued by NYS Professional Standards. A minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience is preferred, with evidence of high student achievement. Prior experience in an instructional coaching role or similar capacity is a plus. Strong knowledge of instructional best practices and curriculum design. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to build trust and positive relationships with educators and staff. Proficient in data analysis and using data to inform instructional practices. Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
