Key Responsibilities: Production Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing processes, balancing demand and capacity. Resource Management: Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for production. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, track materials usage, and coordinate with the supply chain to prevent shortages and minimize excess. Compliance: Ensure all production planning activities comply with GMP regulations and internal quality standards. Reporting: Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Present findings to management for strategic decision-making. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production-related issues, including delays, equipment malfunctions, and resource shortages, to minimize disruptions. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to facilitate smooth production operations. Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives to improve production processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste. Facility Coordination Responsibilities: Facility Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling of production activities with facility maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption during maintenance or upgrades. Space Management: Monitor and manage the allocation of production floor space to optimize workflow and efficiency. Equipment Coordination: Work with the maintenance team to ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained and operational, scheduling downtime for repairs as needed. Safety Compliance: Collaborate with safety and compliance teams to ensure that facility operations meet safety regulations and GMP standards. Facility Upgrades: Assist in planning and coordinating facility upgrades or modifications, ensuring minimal impact on production timelines. Cross-Department Liaison: Act as a liaison between production and other departments, including engineering and facilities management, to streamline operations and enhance communication. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a life science related field. Experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in a GMP or regulated manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and production scheduling techniques. Proficiency in ERP software and production planning tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Knowledge of GMP regulations and quality management systems is highly desirable.
