Our client, an Atlanta based construction law boutique has an immediate need for an experienced attorney in their Atlanta office. This is an excellent opportunity to work one-on-one with a wide range of clients in both transactional and litigation matters. Key Responsibilities: Prepare legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Conduct legal research on construction law matters, including regulations, case law, and precedents. Prepare for all aspects of trial and depositions, including fact development, exhibit preparation, and witness preparation. Draft correspondence and communications with clients, opposing counsel, consultants, and court personnel. Ensure compliance with deadlines for court filings and discovery requests. Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and gathering information as needed. Utilize technology tools to automate and streamline workflow processes. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in construction law. Proficiency with legal software such as Clio, LexisNexis, WestLaw, or similar tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. JD from a US accredited law school. Licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with e-filing systems and online legal research databases.
