Universal Concrete Products, a family-owned leader in the pre-cast concrete industry since 1967, is seeking an experienced Structural/Architectural Drafter to join our team. Who We're Looking For: Experience: Must have experience preparing pre-cast erection drawings and detailing shop tickets for fabrication. Experience detailing pre-cast concrete is preferred. A high school diploma is required ; college or tech school is preferred. Tech-Savvy: Must have 2 years of AutoCAD & Revit design software experience; proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, Outlook, and Blue Beam is helpful. Strong Communicator: We value clear communication while you collaborate with design & engineering teams and thoughtfulness & awareness of your surroundings while working in community spaces. Analytical: The ability to collect information, review plans, and prepare detailed drawings that satisfy compliance requirements and company standards. Focused & Detail-Oriented: Ability to plan, manage your time, & meet deadlines with no supervisor oversight; aware of small details when checking drawings for compliance. Adaptable: Keeps a positive attitude in a fast-paced, changing environment. Team Player: Ability to get along and work efficiently with a team of 9 workers. Owns up to mistakes, pulls their weight, and is friendly.
