Role Description We are seeking a skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team for immediate employment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the community pharmacy setting and possess a strong understanding of non-sterile pharmacy compounding. Duties Compound non-sterile medications accurately and efficiently following established formulas and protocols in accordance to USP and Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as according to current SOPs and hazardous drug control plan (HDCP) Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the compounding area and equipment to maintain compliance with regulatory standards Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies Provide excellent customer service Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to the work environment everyday Preferred Experience Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a community pharmacy compounding setting is PREFERRED Prior experience with compounding regulations, including USP and USP guidelines, and adherence to good compounding practices Prior experience with compounding equipment and techniques, including but not limited to compounding capsules, creams, and troches Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and patient care Certification as a Pharmacy Technician Qualifications State Pharmacy Technician License (REQUIRED) Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (REQUIRED) Experience in non-sterile compounding (PREFERRED) Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately measure and mix ingredients Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively under pressure Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance 100% paid for by company Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule 8 hour shifts 40 hours per week Monday to Friday No weekends No holidays
