We currently operate a large facility in Jacksonville, Florida and have growth plans to develop and operate several larger facilities across the United States. Position Summary: We are seeking a results-driven Director of Procurement to lead the acquisition and supply chain strategy for end-of-life solar modules, ensuring sufficient monthly intake to satisfy plant(s) capacity. This role is a blend of strategic sales and procurement, emphasizing relationship-building and negotiation of Master Recycling Services Agreements (MRSAs) with leading utilities and independent power producers. The ideal candidate brings a strong sales and business development background from the OEM sector in solar manufacturing, where they have successfully navigated high-stakes agreements and built sustainable supply chains. This role reports directly to the CEO. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy & Capacity Fulfillment Develop and execute strategies to secure a steady supply of solar modules, meeting or exceeding plant capacity requirements. Work closely with operations to align incoming module volumes with plant capacity, adjusting procurement plans as necessary to optimize production schedules. Track market trends in end-of-life module supply, pricing, and demand to inform strategic sourcing decisions and ensure consistent supply flow. Master Recycling Services Agreement (MRSA) Negotiations Lead the negotiation, management and implementation of MRSAs with utilities and independent power producers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that support OnePlanet’s goals. Collaborate with counsel to structure MRSA agreements that maximize plant utilization while managing risk and compliance. Foster relationships with senior asset recovery/disposition decision-makers at leading utilities and power producers, positioning OnePlanet as the premier solution for end-of-life solar module recycling. Relationship Management & Business Development Build and nurture long-term relationships with OEMs, developers, EPCs/O&Ms, and owner/operators, ensuring OnePlanet is the preferred recycling partner for solar energy industry. Identify and engage new sourcing partners, developing a diverse network of module suppliers and strengthening OnePlanet's position in the solar supply chain. Partner with the marketing team to both a) communicate OnePlanet’s value proposition, enhancing industry awareness and expanding reach, and b) establish benchmarks for campaign success metrics and relevant KPIs. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Lead and develop a nation-wide procurement team that excels in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management, fostering a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement. Collaborate with finance, operations, and compliance to optimize procurement budgets and contractual terms, maximizing value to OnePlanet in every agreement. Establish and monitor procurement metrics, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with OnePlanet’s growth objectives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or MBA is a plus. 8 years of experience in solar module sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on procurement or strategic sales with key/large accounts. Proven experience negotiating MSAs with investor-owned utilities / independent power producers, ideally within the solar module or broader renewable energy manufacturing sector. Strong understanding of sales, supplier relationship management, and industry regulations related to solar module procurement. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with a track record of building productive, long-term partnerships. Knowledge of solar industry trends, OEM processes, and recycling regulations is a plus.
