Solar Winds Systems administrator (Onsite/Reston, VA)

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Solar Winds Systems Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to maintain the health, performance, and best practice optimization of their SolarWinds Orion Platform. Here are the specs below: Key Responsibilities: Provide Tier 2/3 operational support for their SolarWinds platform, monitoring over 250 network devices and 700 servers. Maintain accurate platform data by managing nodes and integrating new ones. Collaborate with IT operations to design reports and dashboards. Analyze and optimize the platform for best practice adherence and enhanced performance. Ensure the platform stays current with the latest SolarWinds releases. Document procedures and configurations in detailed knowledge base articles. Offer on-call support, including after-hours assistance. Uphold and refine their IT policies and procedures. Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience with SolarWinds (NCM, SAM, NPM, SCM, NTA, SRM). SolarWinds Certified Professional certification (preferred). Knowledge of Windows Server systems in both cloud and on-premises environments. Understanding of systems, networking protocols, and related hardware/software.
