JOB SUMMARY The District Curriculum Writer 1, K-5 Math primary focus of this role is developing Houston ISD NES (New Education System) curriculum in mathematics grades Kinder through 5th with a specific emphasis on writing teacher-facing curriculum including slide decks with teacher guidance for implementation, Demonstration of Learning (DOL), student activities and differentiated assignments aligned to the learning objective provided for each day. EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree Applicants who do not meet these education qualifications may be considered if they have a unique combination of education and work experiences that indicate potential for success in this role.
