JOB SUMMARY The Curriculum Designer 1, Bilingual ELA K-5 primary focus of this role is developing Houston ISD NES (New Education System) curriculum in Kinder through 5h grade English Language Arts and Science of Reading, with a specific emphasis on writing and translating teacher-facing curriculum including slide decks with teacher guidance for implementation, Demonstration of Learning (DOL), student activities and differentiated assignments aligned to the learning objective provided for each day into Spanish.
