We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic with at least two years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing food processing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role requires hands-on experience with European brands and an ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and corrective actions to minimize downtime and keep machinery running at peak performance. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of European food processing equipment, including mixers, conveyors, packaging machines, and more. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Follow maintenance schedules for preventive care, including lubrication, parts replacement, and calibration, to extend equipment lifespan. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance and to communicate any equipment status changes. Maintain accurate records of repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within a food production environment, adhering to regulatory requirements and company guidelines. Source and replace spare parts as needed, coordinating with vendors and suppliers to maintain a well-stocked inventory. Participate in training to stay updated on best practices for maintaining European machinery and food processing standards. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with European food processing machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude with skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment. Familiarity with electrical and pneumatic systems relevant to food industry machinery. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and equipment schematics. Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and documentation.
