The successful candidate will excel in providing exceptional client service while also playing a crucial role in supporting our Probate team. Key Responsibilities: Draft and file probate documents, including petitions, notices, affidavits, and inventories. Assist in the preparation of accountings for estates and trusts. Manage estate administration tasks such as gathering and organizing assets, paying debts, and distributing assets to beneficiaries. Coordinate communication between clients, beneficiaries, court personnel, and financial institutions. Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and filed correctly. Monitor probate deadlines and ensure all required documents are submitted promptly. Conduct legal research related to probate law, tax issues, and estate planning. Assist in the drafting and finalizing of wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents. Work with accountants or financial professionals to assist with estate tax returns. Communicate with creditors to resolve claims against the estate. Assist in preparing documents for probate litigation, when necessary. Maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism when handling sensitive information.
