The Trim R&D Assistant will utilize his or her exceptional organizational skills to support the Trim Research and Development department. He or she will comprehend the trim development process and complete administrative tasks as needed. This is a permanent full time role for a candidate who can ensure data entry accuracy, communicate effectively and has strong organization skills that will thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Major Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. ● Quarterly WIP maintenance, ensuring all trim data is up to date and in correct format ● Assist R&D Manager to input trim information into PLM ● Assist the R&D Manager with internal and external communication and follow up ● Hold/order and track quarterly sample orders ● Assist R&D Manager by setting up binders for each brand/each season ● Assist with taking pictures, uploading and renaming files of trim headers/cards ● Work with cross functional teams to prepare for for buy meetings ● Help track incoming sourcing/counter sourcing/submit packages ● Organize physical trim library and assist in maintaining the library ● Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: ● Strong sense of urgency ● Enthusiastic willingness to learn ● Positive and dependable attitude ● Confidence to speak up and ask questions ● Works well in a fast paced, ever-changing environment - strong multi-tasking skills ● Effective time management and ability to stay organized ● Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling ● Must be able to sit for extended periods of time Minimum Qualifications: ● 1 year experience working in a similar role ● Experience with data entry ● Excellent computer skills including Excel and Google Docs Preferred Qualifications ● Degree in Fashion, Product Development or similar field ● Experience with Trim & Hardware ● Proficient in Adobe Illustrator A successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision. For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range is $19.00/hr to $21.00/hr.
