Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, equipment installations, and conducting preventive maintenance. Primary Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair electrical circuits, including 3-phase, single-phase, and DC systems. Assemble, install, and repair plumbing systems (pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, air, and sewer). Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, and furniture. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and address identified issues, documenting and updating the Supervisor as needed. Collaborate with the Supervisor to prioritize daily maintenance work orders and projects. Respond promptly to unplanned maintenance requests. Build and maintain a working knowledge of plant operations and machinery. Follow all policies and procedures related to the company’s Environmental Management System (EMS). Secondary Responsibilities: Perform minor air conditioning system repairs. Modify or fabricate components to improve equipment functionality. Build work or storage areas based on engineering designs. Procure equipment and supplies for repairs as needed. Participate in training to stay current on maintenance techniques and procedures. What You’ll Bring: Completion of a formal trade school program, apprenticeship, or equivalent on-the-job training. At least 5 years of experience in general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring tools. Skilled in using hand and power tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit (5%), stand (10%), and walk (85%) during shifts. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. (25% of the time). Flexibility to bend, stoop, push, pull, and twist. Proficiency in using lifts and power tools. Adherence to safety standards, including wearing steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection (provided).
